Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
(2006)
Developer: |
CAPCOM |
Game Producer: |
Yoshinori Ono |
Composer Notes:
I worked on the score to Lost Planet over the course of a three year period, as it would come and go for long periods of time. The game is set on a planet of snow in the future, so I designed a lot of cold futuristic synth textures and blended those with metallic hits and epic orchestra. For the giant alien "Akrid", I used more organic clicking percussion and horror string effects. I loved traveling to the world of EDN-3.
Here is a nice Q&A about the scoring process at Gamespot.com
