The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth
(2004)
Developer: |
EA Games |
Audio Director: |
Mical Pedriana |
Music by: |
Howard Shore |
Additional Music: |
Jamie Christopherson, Bill Brown |
Composer Notes:
I absolutely love the music by Howard Shore for the LOTR movies, so it was a complete honor when EA games entrusted us with writing additional music for this game. The idea was to write some music that sounded like it could have been in the films. The catch: we couldn't use any of the themes from the films, so all of the melodies are original but use the same vibe. The biggest complement was that everyone who played the game assumed that the music was all from the films.
