Composer Notes:
It's hard to pick a favorite project, but this one has to rank up there among them. Upon seeing the first footage from this film I knew it was something special. The directing, cinematography, acting - so inspiring. I spotted the film with the director and literally right after he left I sat down at the piano and within 2 hours had all of the major themes written and the score mapped out. This doesn't happen often!
The score is a rousing blend of live orchestra, Iranian musicians and 80s synth drums. So fun to combine all those things together!
